It depends on the footprint and your local regulations — in most cases a simple notification or light planning procedure applies; check with your local planning office. With every pavilion we supply the base drawings needed for the paperwork.
Yes. The glued-timber and steel-node structure is calculated for the snow and wind loads of your region. In the enclosed version you choose solid walls, glazing, insulation and heating, so the pavilion works all year.
The pavilion stands on screw piles or a prepared slab, and we provide the base drawings free of charge. Production takes 2 to 8 weeks from the deposit; the structure is then delivered and assembled on the prepared base.
Wood Clad is a load-bearing dome in glued laminated timber joined with steel nodes — not a thin steel frame with a stretched membrane. We design the materials for decades, not a few seasons; hence a different durability, look and price.
Glued laminated timber, steel nodes and PVC covering are selected for over 10 years of use. The structure carries a 3-year warranty, and the timber is protected with UV-resistant lacquer or stain.
Yes — that is Wood Clad's strength. The same spherical form can stand as an open pavilion or be enclosed with walls, glazing, insulation and fittings, turning it into a year-round glamping unit.
